Where We Test and Treat Water: Chandler and Nearby Towns
Our free water test happens at a tap inside your home, in Chandler or any of the nearby towns we cover. We read what is actually in your water first and explain each number. Only then do we talk about a softener, a filter or a reverse osmosis unit.

Towns We Cover From Chandler
Most of our calls come from Chandler itself, and we regularly head out to Gilbert, Mesa and Tempe. To the south we cover Sun Lakes and Queen Creek, and we also take appointments in Guadalupe and Sacaton. If your address sits near the edge of that area, share your cross street on the call and we will tell you plainly whether we can make the trip.
The process is the same in every town. We measure hardness in grains per gallon, total dissolved solids and chlorine at a tap in your home, then match equipment to those numbers. Water in Tempe can read differently from water in Queen Creek, because supply and treatment vary from one city utility to the next. That is why we never quote from a map. Our offer is simple: install included with water treatment systems, so the plumbing labor never arrives as a second bill.
What Shapes Water Treatment Across the Area
- 01
Housing age and plumbing
A large share of homes here were built in recent decades on concrete slabs, with the main water line entering near the garage. That layout usually gives us a clean spot for a softener or whole-home filter at the main shutoff, with a drain close by. Older homes with galvanized or mixed piping get a closer look before we size anything, since corroded lines can add their own iron and sediment to a test result.
- 02
Summer heat
Garages get extremely hot in summer. Heat speeds up the breakdown of rubber O-rings and seals in control valves and filter housings. We place equipment in the coolest workable spot and show you which parts to check each year.
- 03
Scale versus dissolved solids
White crust on faucets, shower glass and water heater elements is the complaint we hear most. It is usually calcium and magnesium, which a softener handles. Spots that stay after softening often come from high dissolved solids, which a softener does not remove and reverse osmosis does. The test tells the two apart, so you are not sold the wrong system for the problem you actually have.
- 04
HOAs and permits
Many neighborhoods have an HOA, and plumbing rules vary by city. Softeners and filters normally sit inside the garage, so HOA approval is rarely needed, but we check before work starts. The softener's discharge hose stops short of the drain, leaving an open space above it so drain water has no path back into your home's pipes. Inspectors look for that gap.
